1997
Rani Re-Rolling Mills Founded
In 1997 Al-hajj Abul Bashar founded of The Rani Re-Rolling Mills (RRM) and started his first integrated re-rolling plant at Shyampur, Kadamtali Industrial Area, Dhaka to manufacture Structural Section Angles & Z-Bars. Gradually it has developed, achieved customer satisfaction and strongly contributed in steel sector of the country.
2003
Founder Sir Illness
In 2003, Industrialist Alhajj Abul Bashar - Founder of The Rani Re Rolling Mills (RRM) suddenly became ill and his elder son Mr. Sumon Chowdhury has to take over all responsibilities of the industry.
2005
Converted to Limited Company
In 2005 the young industrial entrepreneur Mr. Sumon Chowdhury converted The Rani Re-Rolling Mills and The Rani Concast Steel Mills into limited company for great interest of the company.
2011
Wafeeqa Real Estate Founded
The advent of new world economy has changed the way people interact, changed business, and also living standard. Wafeeqa Real Estate Ltd (WREL) – a new dimension of RRM Group has set out in 2011 to display our geographies, talent and to deliver comfortable & luxurious living service to our valued clients.
2013
RRM Composite Plant
As a part of R&D activities, in 2013 RRM Composite Plant get started by strong leadership of Mr. Sumon Chowdhury.
2014
DHR Technology in Bangladesh
Mr. Sumon Chowdhury visited different modern steel manufacturing plant of Europe and took arduous effort to produce international standard TMT Bar Brand - Rani TMT 500W and 550W Gold by launching DHR (Direct Hot Rolling) technology. RRM Group has introduced this innovative technology which was first time in Bangladesh.
2015
RRM EWL Founded
In 2015, RRM Electronics World Limited (RRM EWL) – another contribution of RRM Group has been launched to meet the need of house hold electronics, entertainment, gaming, beauty & fitness accessories to support the pleasing life for the people. RRM EWL is a Leading Global Electronics Brand shop in Bangladesh. It has arranged a huge range of Televisions, Laptop, Desktop, Mobile, Tab, Home & Kitchen Appliances, Home Theater & Audio and more electrical products of renowned brands.
2016
RRMSENSE
Considering the development of Information Technology & innovation, Mr. Sumon Chowdhury has extended his R&D activities by forming RRMSENSE Global Systech Limited in 2016. Day by day they are growing and making contribution for beautiful life.

Considering the development of Architectural innovation, Mr. Sumon Chowdhury has Launched Schematics Limited in 2016. Day by day they are growing and making contribution for beautiful life.
Membership of Worldsteel Association
In recognition of quality full steel manufacturing and rapid growth RRM Group got the Associate Membership of Worldsteel Association in 2016. It is a pride to mention that, RRM Group is the only steel manufacturer which has got Worldsteel membership for the first time from Bangladesh.
