Rangpur Riders signed a sponsorship
agreement with RRM Group for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League 2017 at the
conference room of East West Media Group Ltd in Bashundhara Residential Area in
the capital on Thursday.

Mohiuddin signed the agreement for Rangpur Riders with RRM Group Chairman Sumon
Chowdhury in the agreement signing ceremony.
Both the parties expressed their
pleasure after joining together for Bangladesh’s biggest sporting event.

Mohiuddin spoke on behalf of the franchisee and stated that he is very
confident about the team and hoped that they will achieve title this season. He
welcomed RRM’s initiative to sponsor Rangpur Riders.
“We have formed a champion team with
Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe as the leader along with many brilliant local
and international cricketers.
I welcome
RRM into the Rangpur Riders family and hope that together we will earn the
title this year,” said Mohiuddin.

নগরীর রেডিসন ব্লু বে ভিউতে মঙ্গলবার দিনব্যাপী ‘আন্তজার্তিক স্টিল লং প্রোডাক্ট সামিট’ এ অংশ নেয় জার্মানি, ভারত,
অষ্ট্রিয়া, তিইওয়ান, চীন ও জাপান। দেশীয় ইস্পাত প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে ছিল বিএসআরএম, জিপিএইচ, আরআরএম,
পিএইচপি ফ্যামিলি ও আরএসআরএম।

বারের গুণগত মান, বর্তমান টেসকই প্রযুক্তি, আধুনিক মার্কেটিং পলিসি ও ভূমিকম্প
প্রতিরোধে কি ধরনের টিএমটি বার ব্যবহার করা উচিত- সে বিষয়ে আন্তজার্তিক বিশেষজ্ঞরা
বক্তব্য রাখেন।
সম্মেলনের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে অতিথি ছিলেন
ভারতীয় সহকারি হাই-কমিশনার সোমনাথ হালদার। সম্মেলন উদ্বোধন করেন পিএইচপি গ্রুপের
চেয়ারম্যান সুফি মুহাম্মদ মিজানুর রহমান।
অনুষ্ঠানে সোমনাথ হালদার বলেন, “আধুনিক সভ্যতার
ভিত্তি হচ্ছে ইস্পাত। ভারতীয় অনেক প্রতিষ্ঠানই এখন বিশ্বের ইস্পাত শিল্পে নেতৃত্ব
দিচ্ছে।
“প্রতিবেশী ও বন্ধুপ্রতিম দেশ হিসেবে বাংলাদেশের
ইস্পাত শিল্পের উন্নয়নে সর্বাত্মক সহযোগিতা দিতে ভারত বদ্ধপরিকর। এ শিল্পে দুই
দেশের যৌথ বিনিয়োগ ও দ্বিপক্ষীয় সহযোগিতার বিষয়ে আমি আশাবাদী।”
সুফি মিজানুর রহমান বলেন, ইস্পাত শিল্পের গুণগত
মান, ভ্যালু ক্রিয়েশন ও বাজার সম্প্রসারণে এ সম্মেলন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন
করবে।
“আমাদের দেশে জনপ্রতি স্টিল কনজাম্পসন হচ্ছে ১০০
কেজি। উন্নত দেশের কাতারে যেতে হলে সেটা অনেকগুণ বাড়াতে হবে আমাদের।”
সম্মেলনে সভাপতিত্ব করেন ভারতীয় স্টিল গ্রুপের
প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও সিইও অজয় থাম্ব। মূল প্রবন্ধ উপস্থাপন করেন ভারতীয় ইস্পাত
মন্ত্রণালয়ের প্রধান অর্থনীতিবীদ ড. এ এস ফিরোজ।
সম্মেলনে অংশ নেওয়া বিদেশি ইস্পাত

RRM Group takes part in citys intl expo

RRM Group has taken part in the international exhibition of Bangladesh on Power Generation, Solar and Renewable Energy that which has been taking place in Bashundhara International Convention Centre in the city from Thursday.
RRM is exposing its strategic brand Rani TMT 550W Gold and other distinct grades of TMT bars in the exhibition, said a press release.
RRM has introduced the most modern DHR (Direct Hot Rolling) technology for the first time in Bangladesh that ensures maximum elongation, ductility and bend-ability of TMT bars.
Direct hot rolling (DHR) process is by passing traditional Re-heating furnace. As a result, re heating natural gas is saved and carbon dioxide emission is lowered.
Above all a better quality product is achieved with lower environmental impact and minimised cost.
An enormous gathering of enthusiastic viewers and members of construction industry are noticed in the pavilion.
RRM brings DHR technology

Rani Re-Rolling Mills (RRM) Limited, a concern of the RRM Group lunched its highest cyclic-loading capacity earthquake resistant Rani TMT 500-550W GOLD bars adopting Direct Hot Rolling (DHR) technology for the first time in Bangladesh.
The product is manufactured using most advanced machineries set up at the RRM factory importing from Belgium, Germany, India, Italy and the USA.
Sumon Chowdhury, Chairman, RRM Group announced the launch of the product at a press conference at VIP Lounge of the National Press Club in Dhaka Tuesday. Dr.
Sumon Chowdhury said, “With the inspiration to serve the nation and people of the country through ensuring safe life, we are have introduced a better quality earthquake resistant TMT bars for civil constructions adopting direct hot rolling process.”
“As a result, huge volume of natural gas could be saved and carbon dioxide emission is lowered as this process does not require re-heating. Above all, a better quality product is manufactured having low environmental impact at a minimal cost,” he added.
